Chinese Lion, Dragon & Unicorn Dancing

Chinese folk culture has many different dances and four of the most popular are the Dragon dance, Southern Lion dance, Northern Lion dance and Unicorn dance. Traditionally the Southern Lion has always been performed by kung fu schools and the academy carry's on that proud tradition. Lion Dancing training is an excellent way to develop fitness and is a excellent supplement to regular kung fu training.

The southern lion is most often associated with Chinese New Year and is the most popular dance throughout major Chinese communities in the western world and south Asia.
