The Academy has a strong tradition for lion dancing and demonstrating the martial arts throughout Newcastle and the North East. Although Chinese New Year is the busiest time of the year for our demo team we are active all year round at festivals, weddings, charitable events and business openings.

Lion Dance is a big part in our club life.  It’s an excellent form of exercise and you get to travel around the UK and abroad performing these amazing Chinese cultural activities.  Being part of our performance team is also a great way to make new friends and socialize.  Performers have many social events throughout the year including subsidised trips and training camps.
