Charity Seminars hosted by the Moi Fa Academy
For several year, the Academy
has helped out with Charitable Fund Raising whenever and where ever possible.
Coupled with this fundraising the senior members of the group have a thirst
for knowledge. So I had a crazy idea
of inviting World Class instructors to share their valuable time and
knowledge and at the same time hopefully create a tighter martial arts
community and raise lots of money for important causes.
If anyone has suggestions
on seminar topics and instructors or Charities that can be helped, feel
free to drop me an email. The first three Charities I want to help are Cancer
Research UK, Tiny Lives at the RVI and the TOMA Fund at the RVI. I
hope you will join me in this experiment and journey and lets se where we
go.

2009 – Workshops with Sifu Phillip Starr
I am happy to announce
that our Second Charity fundraising seminar will be with Phillip
Starr.. Phillip has over 50 years experience at the highest levels of
martial arts. This will be his first
visit to Newcastle.

August 2009 - Jeet Kune Do & Knife Defence with Marc McFann (Event One)
I am happy to announce
that our first Charity fundraising seminar will be with the world renowned
Guru Marc McFann. Marc is qualified in martial arts from Kempo to
Silat, Hapkido to Grappling and this marks what I believe to be his first
visit to the Newcastle area in several years.
