Sifu Tennet has been fortunate to train with many great teachers over his martial arts journey. Here is a summary of our heritage.

The primary source of the academy's Wing Chun comes from Trevor Jefferson. Master Jefferson is known world-wide for his deep understanding and practical Wing Chun. His Chi Sau skills are a level most instructors can only dream of.

Being a senior student of Samuel Kwok since the early eighties Master Jefferson learnt much of his Wing Chun first hand from grandmaster Ip Chun while training intensely with Samuel Kwok..

Over the next 25 years he taught Wing Chun full time and developed his Wing Chun skills along with a scientific understanding of how the body is used for fighting. Now based in Mallorca, Spain, he is available for seminars and private instruction world-wide.

The primary source of both the Academy's Seven Star Mantis and Yang Style Tai Chi comes from Derek Frearson. Master Frearson has forgotten more about Chinese Martial Arts than most individuals will ever know. He was a frequent traveller to Shaolin Temple after China opened its doors to the West.

Since the 1970's he has trained intensively with several of the worlds great masters such as Chan Pui, Bo Sim Mark and Ip Chun. He now represents Ou Rong Ju (Yang Tai Chi), Lun Kai (Ip Man Wing Chun) and Lee Kam Wing (Seven Star Mantis).

A regular traveller to China for the last 20 years, Master Frearson continues to teach and train traditional Chinese Martial Arts and is available for instruction World-wide.
